USAID/FFP & USAID/OFDA Interim Guidance for Applicants Engaging in COVID-19 Humanitarian Response

Summary

As part of USAID’s overall efforts to support the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) response, USAID’s Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (USAID/OFDA) and USAID’s Office of Food for Peace (USAID/FFP)—the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (USAID/BHA)—lead efforts to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the impacts of COVID-19 in existing complex emergency responses and address additional potential humanitarian consequences of the pandemic.

This support includes critical public health action alongside interventions to address a wide range of increased humanitarian needs, while maintaining ongoing humanitarian operations. Given the dynamic nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, USAID will continue to expand and adapt the emergency response as the situation changes; this guidance will be updated as new information becomes available.
