The absence of regular water quality testing exacerbates this issue, putting communities at risk of health problems. The Water Quality Assurance Fund program addresses this gap by incentivizing urban labs to conduct water quality tests for rural water systems through financial support. By bridging the urban-rural divide, this initiative ensures that even remote communities can access reliable testing services, ultimately safeguarding public health and promoting water equity.
